Not only is Ulrik the first major snowboard pro to sign with Burn Nordic Team. The crowd is also in for a treat as Ulrik is a guarantee for high-voltage creativity. He has been a steadily rising star on the international snowboard stage, and with his recent wins at the Burn River Jump in Livigno, he is as fired up as ever. A tight competition schedule including the 2011 Burton US Open in Stratton Vermont, X-Games Europe and film shoots with Process Films pushed Ulrik a busy man and one you heard lots about.

Hailing from Hakadal, Badertscher is a rider capable of the very best when at the top of his game, as being the first person to land a 1620, back in 2009, shows. Before that he proved his potential with winning the 2006 World Rookie Festival and also took the O'Neill Pro Freestyle event in Avoriaz in the same year. Beat that!

With an intuitive instinct for adding his own personal style and vision into the game, Ulrik is a guy who stands out from the blend. While everyone else in the field knows exactly what kind of run they have, Ulrik just makes stuff up as he rides the course. The only thing he cares about is whether it's backside or frontside. If it's a double 10 or 12, that's a minor detail for Ulrik, he knows he is gonna stomp it anyways.
